Omaha poker is one of the most entertaining best poker games, which has become very popular recently. Omaha poker takes its roots from Texas Hold’em and is based on a community card scheme. Each player gets four cards ("hole cards"), which belong only to that player. The aim of best poker players is to make the best five-card poker hand. Five community cards are dealt face-up on the "board". All Omaha poker players use three of the five community cards together with two of their hole cards. >> Absolute Poker << The same as in other best poker games, Omaha has a disc, "the button," which is used to show which player is the nominal dealer for the current game. Before the game begins, the player clockwise the button posts the "small blind," typically half a small bet (for example, $1 in a $2/$4 game). Then, the "big blind" is posted by the Omaha poker player clockwise the small blind, which is always a full small bet ($2 in a $2/$4 game), then each player receives his or her four hole cards. Starting with the poker player, betting action proceeds around the table immediately clockwise the big blind. Then, the first three community cards available to all active players, also known as the 'flop', are dealt face-up on the board. The active poker player clockwise the button starts the betting. All bets and raises occur in small bets (increments of $2 in a $2/$4 game). Having completed betting action for the flop round, the "turn" is dealt face-up on the board. The turn is the fourth community card in Omaha poker game. Betting begins with the active poker player immediately clockwise the button. On this round, betting doubles from the small bet to the big bet. In a $2/$4 game, betting on the turn is done in $4 increments. Having completed betting action for the turn round, the "river" is dealt face-up on the board. The river is the fifth and final community card in Omaha poker game. Betting begins with the active poker player immediately clockwise the button. If more than one player remains when the final betting round is completed, the last bettor or raiser shows his or her cards. If there was no bet on the final round, the player clockwise the button shows his or her cards. The pot will be received by the best poker player with the best five-card hand. In Omaha poker, players have to use two and only two of their four hole cards in combination with three cards from the board. In case the hands are identical, the pot will be equally divided between the poker players with the best hands. After the pot is awarded, it is time for a new game of Omaha poker.
